Carol Burnett, M.Ed.Founder/President
The Founder and CEO of Optimum Brain Institute, Carol Burnett became a student and practitioner of neurofeedback in 2005. While exploring various wellness modalities, she discovered the field of neurofeedback and realized that this unique technology provided an increased sense of happiness, serenity and balance while increasing focus and memory and improving sleep (baby boomers will relate to this!). Although neurofeedback was first introduced over thirty years ago, more recent innovative advances have allowed neurofeedback to remain a cutting edge technology to enhance human potential.
Co-Author of McGraw-Hill's newest publication (2010) in its best-selling "Big Book' series, her "Big Book Of Brain Building Games" has already received rave reviews. Carol is considered a connoisseur in translating esoteric brain research into understandable and practical applications
In addition to having two undergraduate degrees, she also holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling Psychology from the State University of New York. Coupled with a strong academic and corporate background, Carol has taught and
consulted for colleges both in the US and Canada and conducted seminars and workshops for thousands of clients. She has served as an Assistant Vice-President for a national financial institution and has worked extensively in the field of Human Resources.
She has earned several nationally recognized certifications including Myers-Briggs, DDI (Development Dimensions, International), and The Institute of Cultural Affairs’ Group Facilitation Methods. A member of the Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, she is also a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and has been certified as a registered Hypnotherapist in both the US and Canada. Having been Third Degree Reiki certified, she is also a certified Transformational Workshop Leader for the Louise Hay Methods.
Carol’s clients and audiences across the country have experienced first-hand the results of this proven technique. Through her consulting, coaching, workshops, presentations, and brain-training technology, she assists individuals and groups to maximize their brains' potential.

We recommend that you arrive about 5 minutes early to your appointments. If clients are late, we may need to cut time and/or protocol from the session. If clients are more than 10 minutes late, they may have to forfeit the entire session and the cost involved. We appreciate your anticipated cooperation in this matter. It is also important to know that your brain requires additional energy during this process, and it is beneficial to eat more protein than normal while doing sessions. Plenty of water is also important.
